St. Mary's Medical Center

This 3-story core and shell medical office building project accommodates an x-ray facility, a pharmacy on the 1st floor, and four split-levels of basement parking. The building structure is fireproofed, with two (machine-room-less) traction elevators serving the parking basement levels and upper floors. Tie-backs and soldier piles were installed along with 12” thick shotcrete. Exterior wall finishes incorporated travertine and slate tiles, Aluco-bond metal cladding, tinted dual-glazed windows, curtain walls, and storefront elements. The interior lobby and common areas, floors are finished with travertine and slate tiles. Exterior framing consisted of metal studs, metal deck and structural lightweight concrete. The roof was sloped by using insulated lightweight concrete (Light-Crete Plus).
